PRODUCT OVERVIEW
When run as a standalone platform, the Micro maintains a low profile capable of being worn fully loaded under a normal/loose fit jacket or sweatshirt without overtly printing. When run on an armor platform with a quick release system, the chest rig can be attached or stowed in seconds giving the end user the versatility to transition from low vis to high vis or vice versa.
The VELCRO® Brand loop lined placard insert pouch integrates directly with the suite of Micro Inserts providing operators with custom configurations for carriage of a wide assortment of magazines, radios, and other mission essential equipment. Micro Inserts are available in Single 556 (includes MP2 Insert), Double 556 (includes MP2 Inserts), Triple 556 (includes MP2 Inserts), Single 762 (includes MP2 Insert), Quad SMG (Sub Machine Gun/Pistol Caliber Carbine), Single Multi-Utility (Pistol/Utility Tool), and Double Multi-Utility (Pistol/Utility Tool).
The Micro features two side mounted utility pouches constructed with elastic for streamlined carriage of pistol magazines, flashlights, utility tools, or 37mm/40mm grenades. The front zippered general-purpose pouch includes internal elastic retention as well as a full field of VELCRO® Brand loop for organization and visual identification of stored equipment.
The back panel of the Micro includes a full field of VELCRO® Brand hook for secure attachment to plate carriers when ran as a placard. The Small Chest Rig Pad (sold separately) can be added when operating under heavier loadouts. The hook backer is also cross compatible with all Wedge Expansion System products (sold separately) including the Double Rifle Mag Wedge, Holster Wedge, Admin Wedge, and 6.25" Shears Wedge creating a highly modular platform capable of scaling to meet a multitude of mission requirements.
The X-Harness comes standard on all Haley Strategic Chest Rigs and provides load bearing comfort across a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. The slip loop shoulder strap system enables users to quickly don/doff any chest rig or placard. The X-Harness includes a waist strap (“belly band” or “back strap”) as well as 1 Column with 3 Rows of MOLLE webbing on both shoulder straps for cable management and attachment of PTTs, hydration tubes, compasses, EUD bridges, GPS and other similar sized items.
The Micro was disruptively engineered for direct integration with the Side Saddles, Multi-Mission Hanger, FlatPack and FlatPack Plus (no additional accessories required) providing operators the ability to expand and customize their kit to meet any mission requirement.
Note: The Micro Chest Rig is compatible with most industry standard plate carriers that can be outfitted with 1” ITW Nexus female buckles including: Spiritus Systems (LV119 Covert and LV119 OVERT), Ferro Concepts (FCPC v5 and Slickster), Velocity Systems (Scarab LT), Shaw Concepts (ARC v2), and Defense Mechanisms (Mission Essential Plate Carrier).
